Beijing Stars and Rain

Stars and Rain is a training center for parents and teachers of autistic children.

BEIJING STARS AND RAIN was founded in 1993 by a parent and is the first non-governmental educational organization in China that cares for children with autism.

The name “Stars and Rain” comes from the American movie “Rainman”, which raised public awareness of autism, and the nickname “Children of the Stars”, which the Taiwanese affectionately use to refer to their autistic children.

Beijing Stars and Rain helps autistic children and their families with its unique parenting classes that give parents the skills to raise their children.

Stars and Rain also runs a residential group for several teenagers with autism and related disabilities.
